8 Months Old!

 Some highlights from this month:

- Got two more teeth (on top) and now has 6 teeth!

  

- Celebrated his first Easter and even visited the Easter Bunny! He enjoyed having his Aunt Meghan home for Spring Break.

- Spent some quality time with his best buds Kaydence, Benjamin, & Peyton!

- Graduated to a big boy car seat. 

- Spent some time enjoying the California spring weather while Dad and Grandpa tore apart our backyard.

- Got another haircut and his first taste of Hagen's Orange Freeze!

- And unfortunately made it through his first cold, though he was nice enough to share it with everyone around!

8 Month Stats:

22 lbs 9 ounces

7 Months Old!

Where does the time go?! I better get planning this boy's first birthday....

 

 

 

Some highlights from this month:

 

- Got two more teeth (on top) and two more are ready to break through any day now!

  

- His new teeth help him eat even more. This month he's tried blueberries, chicken, turkey, cheese, asparagus, and so much more. We've skipped the baby food since he won't eat anything pureed but loves just about anything you will give him. He even had his first bite of cake to help Dad celebrate his birthday.

 

- He loves being outdoors and being in his new swing.

 

 

- Visited his Grandma & Grandpa in Santa Rosa for the first time.

 

-Went bowling for the first time!

 

 

 

6 Months Old!

Some highlights from this month:

- Got his first hair cut! His sides were a little out of control so we had them cleaned up. Took 3 people to keep this squirmy boy still!

- Got his first two teeth! We had a few fussy days but he still slept well and we're all glad they've broken through.

- Tried out a lot of new foods. LOVES to eat rice crackers and reaches for whatever anyone is eating.

- Not quite crawling but rolling back and forth constantly.

- Play dates with a few of his friends.

6 Month Stats:

  19 lbs 8 ounces (95th Percentile)

28 1/4 inches long (90-95th Percentile)

5 Months Old!



Some highlights from this month:

- Met his Uncle Mikey for the first time!

- Tries to crawl but has a hard time getting his belly off the ground! Very good at moving himself forward if he has something to push off of.

- Celebrated his first Christmas (and was spoiled rotten with presents)!

- Has mastered grabbing toys and getting them to go where he wants.

- Definitely favors his left hand... we'll see if his Daddy gets his wish!

- Loves attention and will happily smile and chat with you.

- Rung in the New Year!

-Attended his first children's birthday party to celebrate his cousin Argia turning 2!

5 Month Stats:

18 lbs

We've had lots of drool lately... just waiting for a tooth to pop through!

4 Months Old!

 

Some highlights from this month:

- Started rolling from his back to front and am constantly squirming around!

- Met his Great Grammy and Great Aunts who came to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

- Went Black Friday shopping and was such a trooper.

- Got scared for the first time (by a dancing chihuahua stuffed animal!)

- Learning to control his hands.

- Getting ticklish and loves to laugh and smile!

- Met Santa!

- Had his 4 month check up.

 

4 Month Stats:

16 lbs 10 ounces

26 3/4 inches long (the size of an average 8 month old!)

 

 

 

We are so lucky to be this boys parents, having a great time watching him learn and grow. Love seeing his little personality develop!



3 Months Old!

This boy is growing much too fast!

Some highlights from this month:

-Had a couple playdates with his girlfriend Kaydence.

-First trip to Apple Hill with Mom and Dad.

-First day alone with Daddy, had lunch at wingstop and took a trip to the mall!
-Went to a few Sac State football games.
-Dressed up for Halloween and sat in a pumpkin!
-Loves giggling and interacting with everyone.
-Found his hands and loves chewing on them!

 

We don't go back to the doctor for a check up until next month but we weighed him the other day and he's already up to 15 lbs!
