Baby O: 23 Weeks

                                                                         Baby O
How far along? 23 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Are a must....my selection of regular clothes is getting smaller and smaller which makes it pretty easy to get dressed in the morning!
Stretch marks? Loving my Palmer's lotion. I've read that the lotions don't really work, you're either genetically predisposed to stretch marks or you're not, but it doesn't hurt!
Movement: Lots of little flutters this week, I can tell he's growing in there!
Food cravings: Sticking with milk, fruit, and candy. I'm not as tempted by fast food which is a big change for me!
Can't resist: Taking naps... I've spent more than a few afternoons on the couch!
Gender: Boy!
Symptoms: Starting to feel a little tightness in my belly, but still can't pretty comfortable.
Belly Button in or out? It's about 3/4 of the way out now.
Projects This Week: Working on rehabing an armoire. We're hoping it will turn out like we plan, but I'll post our progress soon!
Looking forward to: Getting his bedding made and in his crib. Hopefully I'll be able to knock it out this weekend!

Baby O: 22 Weeks

Baby O
How far along? 22 Weeks
Maternity clothes? More and more of my regular tops are getting put away, I'm so glad it's getting warmer so I can start living in dresses.
Stretch marks? Still don't have any, hope it stays that way!
Movement: I felt a lot more distinct movements the past few days... I'm sure I'll have his elbows in my ribs in no time.
Food cravings: Still drinking lots of milk and I crave candy, but I don't think that's pregnancy related : ).
Can't resist: Buying clothes! We registered over the weekend so I'm hoping that will curb my habit for the time being.
Gender: Baby Boy!
Symptoms: Still feeling great and sleeping well, but I can feel my belly getting bigger everyday so I'm sure that won't last much longer.
Belly Button in or out? Popped halfway out this week. It's pretty weird since I usually have a VERY innie belly button.
Projects This Week: Touching up the trim paint and getting to work on his bedding as soon as the fabric comes!
Looking forward to: Getting his furniture situated so I can start organizing the closet and finding a place for all the clothes I washed.

Nursey Sneak Peek: Disposal Area

Finally making some progress that's worth blogging about! Here is a little sneak peek about the nursery, see if you can guess what our "theme" is...

I found this great wire apple crate at Homegoods and thought it would make the perfect laundry basket for Baby O's clothes. I added this old Canadian "disposal area" license plate to finish it off by attaching it with a few pieces of wire.

And of course made Cali try it out... works perfectly!

I even put it to the test by washing up some of Baby O's clothes. Eric assembled the crib last night so I hope to have more to show you next week!

Baby O: 21 Weeks

Baby O
How far along? 21 Weeks
Maternity clothes? My regular tops are getting tighter, but maternity pants are a must!
Stretch marks? None yet, hoping the lotion will keep them away.
Movement: Just a bit. From our last ultrasound I know he's squirming around in there, but I can only faintly feel it.
Food cravings: Drinking lots of milk and eating fresh fruit. I can't wait for the farmer's market to start back up next month.
Can't resist: Still buying clothes! We are planning on setting up the nursery furniture next week so then I'll move onto decorating.
Gender: He is still a he! Our 20 week ultrasound confirmed he is a boy.
Symptoms: Still feeling great. I'm sure I won't be quite as comfortable when it's 100 degrees this summer.
Belly Button in or out? Innie, still has a ways to go before it pops out.
Projects This Week: Touching up the trim paint. We were able to install crown molding in the rest of our house this week so we just need to touch up some of the paint.
Looking forward to: Going to the Dr. in a few weeks. At our 20 week ultrasound he was measuring ahead of schedule, the Dr. will confirm if he's due a little earlier than we expected.

Baby O: 20 Weeks

After many requests I finally have a belly pic, I haven't had much to show, but I can tell he's really starting to grow!

If you've ever been on Pinterest I'm sure you've see Jessica's super cute chalkboard belly pics so I thought I'd do something similar.

A long, long time ago I posted on All Things Homie about painting this frame silver and I finally got around to making it a chalkboard for these pictures.

Maternity clothes? Still wearing a lot of my regular tops, but maternity pants are a must!
Stretch marks? None yet!
Movement: Just a bit. From our last ultrasound I know he's squirming around in there, but I can only faintly feel it.
Food cravings: Milk, milk, and milk! Other than that most of my regular eating habits... good or bad :)
Can't resist: Buying clothes! I've been trying to cut back but I just keep finding things I can't resist.
Gender: Baby Boy!
Symptoms: None, so far being pregnant has been a piece of cake. Hope this keeps up!
Belly Button in or out? Innie.
Projects This Week: Decorating the nursery and touching up the trim paint. We have collected quite a few decorations, on the hunt for a few others, and waiting for a few more to come in the mail. Hopefully we'll reveal the "theme" soon!
Looking forward to: Getting some more work done on the nursery!
